The Caravella Family has been in the construction industry since 1928. In following the footsteps of his grandfather and father, John Caravella took over the family business and transitioned from a construction company to the specialized trade of demolition. John has over 35 years of experience, growing up on construction sites, where he developed a passion for the industry at an early age. Over the years he has worked for his family-owned business as well as some of the biggest companies in the construction and demolition industry in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania tri-state area. John has a strong emphasis on family, and those that work for us — and with whom we work — become part of the Caravella family.

Caravella Demolition is conveniently located in Morris County, NJ with direct access to all major highways in the area. Our headquarters is equipped with a fully operational maintenance facility that employs full-time mechanics to include operations for welding. We have the capability to mobilize equipment and our team members within 2 hours at the request of our clients in New Jersey and surrounding areas, or in an emergency situation. And our phones are always answered by a Caravella team member.
Our insurance policies are endorsed to include full coverage for demolition and environmental abatement. We have a bonding capacity of up to $20 million with an A Rated Surety Company.
We are licensed with the NJDEP to haul our own demolition debris with our fleet of dump trailers that are custom built to our standards for the most efficient debris removal. We use these trailers to live load out all debris that is generated from the demolition scope for a safer, cost-effective job site.
95% of the materials that are generated from our demolition and recycling projects are taken to a facility for recycling purposes. This helps our projects to be candidates for a GREEN Building and a LEED project. Our emphasis on recycling makes Caravella friendly to the environment.
